CPC30620 — Develop trade-level skills in painting and decorating for residential and commercial construction.

Overview

This trade qualification covers the skills and knowledge required for painting and decorating in residential and commercial settings. Students learn surface preparation, paint application, colour matching, wallpapering, and decorative finishes.

Delivered face-to-face at our Brisbane and Gold Coast campuses over 58 weeks, combining practical workshop training with theoretical knowledge.

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age at the time of enrolment
  • Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent qualification
  • IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 (test taken within the last 2 years); accepted alternatives include TOEFL iBT score of 64, PTE Academic score of 50, Cambridge Advanced (CAE) score of 169, or Oxford Placement Test B2
  • Completion of a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) assessment prior to enrolment
